Tell me about 4 month wakeful...

What have you dealt with, what should I prepare for? Is there a good site to go to for info about all these wakeful wonder stages? TIA!

    D was up every couple hours by night and naps were crap. It was super fun.

    Does every baby go through this? I know we still have time but the only change I've noticed with DS is his naps have gotten shorter and he'll wake up at 45am for a feeding when he used to sleep until 7 or 8am.

    I'm a mom to my 4 angel babies who were taken from us much to soon!
    BFP#1 on 09/29/09 and EP discovered/Left Tube lost on 10/19/09 EDD 06/12/10
    BFP# 2 on 03/21/2010 EDD 11/30/10 Natural M/C on 3/27/10
    BFP# 3 on 02/14/2011 EDD 10/28/11 Missed M/C discovered 4/19/11 and D&C 4/21/11 On 5/6/11 we found out our Oct Angel was a beautiful little girl <3
    IVF#1=BFP#4 on 8/31/11 EDD 5/12/12 EP discovered and MTX shot given 9/14/ & 9/21 M/C on 10/9/11
    IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    M didn't have an actual suckass 4 month wakeful. He was more like this... & it didn't last very long. Maybe 2 weeks. Maybe.

    DS never had those wakeful moments. He was a great sleeper and looking back on the few times he was up crying at night, I think he could have been really hungry or not feeling well. Hang in there. These moments are short lived....I hope!

    I guess I'm pretty lucky that even though he's waking up at 4am or 5am that he goes back to bed.  I go in and change/feed him and I put him back in his crib wide awake.  He'll "talk" and play for a little bit and then falls back to sleep on his own.  I really can't complain because DS is a great sleeper.

    This is more like what I've experienced. DD has taken to waking up anywhere from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. to nurse, but then she lays back down for a few hours until her usual wake up time (anywhere from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.). Before this, she was STTN from about 9 p.m. to about 8 p.m., only waking to fuss for her pacifier for a little. Now she won't go back down without eating.

    I'm fully prepared for it to get worse, but so far, this has been us for the past two weeks.

    4MW was brutal for us. DS was up every 1-2hrs for 3 weeks.  It was during the time I was transitioning back to work, so it was rough.  Every baby is different. Hopefully you won't have to deal with this.

    Hopefully we don't experience anything too crazy. G has been a little tougher to get down at night, but I think she's been feeling a little under the weather. Thanks for the insight!

    DS had an hour long party in his crib every night around 4am.  He did it for close to 6 weeks.  It was awesome. 
    BFP#1 4/17/10...EDD 1/6/11...M/C 5/28/10 BFP#2 11/19/10...EDD 8/4/11 Squeaker born 7/30.
