TPR was done today

TPR was done on mother I found out today.  A little bittersweet for the boys, but at least we aren't left wondering what is going to happen. (Both fathers already had TPR done).

I seriously need to update my blog.  Hope everyone on the board is doing well.

    Glad to hear that it is completed - I can only imagine it would be difficult to have that hanging out there.  
    Married mom of 3 bio kids - trying to grow the family through adoption - either DIA or Fost-Adopt.

    I remember the same bittersweet feeling. Just know that in this case, it is what is best for the boys.

    Mother of two wonderful boys! Blessed through adoption.

    Until I had M, I didn't understand the bittersweetness posters often talked about feeling upon TPR.  But watching him grieve for his mother made it clear instantly.  On the one hand, this is something you hoped for because you love these boys and want to make them part of your permanent, legal family, but on the other, you know that this represents a real and, in many ways final, loss for them.

    It's okay to feel both, that's the sign of a good mother.
