What do you think of this blanket?

(I'm talking about the green/pink/brown one. The blue gray one is my comforter & I don't care what you think about that. Wink )

For use as a bed spread? Childs blanket? What would the use be for? I can't picture the blanket b/c of the blue background. I think I like it though.

It reminds me of sorbet. I like sorbet, just not on textiles.

That was really nice of her to make it for you (P?) though. I hang on to things like that for a little while and then find them a nice, new, loving home.

Yeah, I've had it for a little over 2 years because she crocheted it for us. Buuut, I haven't used it once. I don't know what to do. It was nice, but it's pistachio green, this weird lightish brown, and a funky pink color. It goes with nothing and totally NMS. I'd really like someone to use it & enjoy it though.

That is the wierdest crochet blanket I have ever seen! I crochet alot and all I'm doing is sitting here trying to figure out what kind of pattern she was trying to make with it and how it went so horribly wrong! The way the colour blocking is done is just so... strange.

Definitely NMS at all, but I second the fact that it would have taken alot of work/man-hours to make so it was a thoughtful gift from her.

It's actually a pretty common and old fashioned quilt pattern. I think it's called "Log Cabin"? Usually it is more than 3 colors or more than 3 shades. I find it odd it's crocheted though; it looked quilted.

Yes, I HAVE seen that in a quilt. It really doesn't translate into crochet very well.

Welp, unless someone here claims it, I'm donating it to someone that will love it & use it. I feel bad that it's in the closet all the time.
