Last night he fell asleep on his Daddy while everyone was hootin' and hollering over the football game! His mouth was wide open and his big lips were so red from strawberries! I just want to eat him up... very jealous Daddy got to cuddle a sleeping Bo baby!
Today he found a gift bag with a monkey face on it! He kept putting his sippy and baby blanket in the bag and dragging it all over the house!
SO CUTE I tell ya!
OH! one more! He shakes his BO BOOTY!!!!! Yes! He is my son!
This weekend she learned two new signs! Help and toilet. She gets so proud of herself when she learns a new one!
So there's this boy. He kinda stole my heart. He calls me "Mom"

She used to say mama occasionally, but now she is doing it constantly! When I'm holding her she pats my chest and says "mama. mama" over and over. I love it!
Also, she gets so upset when daddy leaves for work in the evenings. She starts asking for her "coke" (coat) and bringing me her shoes because she wants to go with him. It breaks my heart but is so adorable.
We taught D to rub noses with us. So when he comes for a cuddle he wants to give us kisses too.
He also helps close the fridge when we are getting stuff out of the fridge.
He also loves dogs. He snuggles his stuffed puppies all the time.
She started smelling her food. But she hasn't learned that she doesn't have to stick her nose completely in the food! Today? Yogurt. All over her cute little nose. She's part Italian! Lol.
She doesn't like to listen, so we play a little game. If I tell her not to do something, she will do it anyway. So we say "don't you kiss daddy!" And she will kiss him. I keep saying it and she keeps kissing. It's so funny.
She started kissing my belly. I keep telling her there's a baby in mommys belly so she has to be gentle. She's not always gentle and it hurts so bad.. But when she kisses it, it melts my heart.

A while back the smoke alarm went off while DH and I were cooking dinner, so I went and waved at it, and told Carter that he needed to blow to make it stop beeping. A few days ago, he noticed there's a smoke alarm in our room, so he started waving his arms around and blowing at the smoke alarm, even though it wasn't beeping. And when I was sick, I took my temperature, and the thermometer made similar beeping noises as a fever alert. Yup, he started blowing at it! haha
Recently, he's learned that "please" is the key word to get what he wants. So when he wants something now, he just says "please, please, please,please." He even tried that with a 3y.o. the other day, because he wanted her cake pop!
He's learning to sign please
and using his signs with as much (or more) frequency as talking.
He's picky on books and who reads them! He'll push books onto the floor until he finds the one he wants (one of 3 - Brown Bear, Brown Bear; Polar Bear, Polar Bear; 10 Little Rubber Ducks). Then he'll take it to DH or me, and halfway through the story decide that the other parent should be reading it.
Beca, we may need to steal your idea of family storytime!
These are making me smile.
G has become a little fashionista, apparently. I bought a back of 6 headbands and she puts them all on her head at once, wraps her blankie around her neck like a scarf, and puts on a bracelet. That's how she walks around the house. It's hilarious. She also likes to share her headbands, so it's not unusual to find me or H wearing 6 pink and purple bands in our hair.
She knows to blow on her food to cool it down. Today she started blowing on her egg while it was still cooking.
He knows that going bye bye means we get a coat and shoes on. When I grab his shoes, he sits down and points at his feet.
If he even hears the word "nap" or "sleepy" he runs and hides, giggling all the time. Until I take him upstairs that is! Haha
