A Monday morning lesson.

There is only so much sweetness in a little boy on a Monday morning.  He has just enough to read you a story and tuck you in with his blanket and favorite toys before he has to balance out this cuteness by belly flopping onto your stomach screeching like a demented bat. 

Or so I learned when I decided to curl up on his bedroom floor this morning to doze while he played.  Lesson learned.  Thanks DS.

    So true, so true. DS hit me in the eye with a handle last week when I was on the sofa feeling extremely sick. Talk about adding insult to injury.

    Too funny! This sounds like S. I haven't been brave enough to snooze in his room while he plays. If I am on the floor, I am fair game.

    I may or may not have fallen asleep on the couch last week while Lily was reading books and playing.  I don't think I was asleep for more than a few minutes, but she woke me by bonking me in the head with her new wooden apple from the cutting food set.  I guess she got tired of the books and went to cut some fruit, but she needs help aiming the knife.  Hence my rude awakening.

    There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity.  I crossed that line this morning lol. Stay smart.  Don't try and snooze on the floor.
