I am 35 weeks, although my last ultrasound measured my precious little girl two weeks more ......and i was wondering if anyone is feeling sick to their stomach in the morning and has less than zero energy to get anything done???? Please help me out
I think what you are feeling is pretty common. I'm 35 weeks also and have felt pretty good the whole pregnancy and honestly believe it's because I literally drink a gallon of water a day, eat smaller healthy meals, and take our dogs for a long walk every evening... But, I am slowing down and feel stiff and sore most mornings and if I don't keep something in my stomach I definitely start to feel queasy. I think my main motivation to get anything done is obviously knowing that our little one will be here soon, but it also means... maternity leave! Good luck to you!!
Yes and No ..... i feel queasy but dont actually get sick, havent thrown up in years (thank god i missed those symptons ) but i constantly feel like i havent eaten in days ; even 5 mins after ive eaten. he never stops moving ever and though my dr says it will get more subtle i cant see how since i have a small frame, between him the bh contractions and the queasy-ness i have now energy or will to do anything ....... but sleep and stay in the bath
YES! I didn't get morning sickness in the first trimester but here at almost 35 weeks I feel very nauseated in the mornings. I just thought I was getting out of it! ( :
I've been sick the ENTIRE pregnancy except the first 6 weeks so I feel your pain. I've pretty much gotten used to being sick to my stomach...the only problem I face now in regards to getting sick is bladder control during the episode....not fun! My energy levels have been pretty good throughout but at 35 weeks, I've definitely hit the wall. I feel like everything takes 100x more energy!!! I am supposed to work 2 more weeks but think next week will be the end for me! Hang in there! Our littles girls will be here soon and that's all that matters!
Beyond queasy, daily. I am finding every day is a new challenge with less & less energy. I sleep 8-9 hours & take a nap with my 3 year old 1-2 hours a day. & I still feel super sleepy. Just look at it like this we're in the home stretch now. Then come the real lack of energy Best of luck

Yep, queasy off and on, nothing like my first and beginning of my second trimester, thank God! Also having an increase in heartburn/indigestion and hot flashes. I know a few more weeks will do him good but I'm feeling ready for my little boy to be here.
I just started to have that. I didn't have morning sickness earlier in the pregnancy, but recently I'll get up in the morning and feel really queasy. I have been really lazy and my husband has noticed that I have had bad laziness recently. I'm sorry your going through the same thing.
I am right there with you but my queasiness is on and off all day! We went to the doctor on Wednesday and are baby is already measured out at 6lbs 3 oz and we just turned 35 weeks today! I'm hoping that is an indication that he will be here sooner than our Aug 2nd due date.
I am not too queasy, but the heartburn is off the charts. I am 35 weeks, and I am now feeling VERY short of breath. There are times when I feel like I am actually suffocating, which makes it very difficult to stay calm. I think this has been the worst symptom yet. I can't WAIT to be done. I hate to sound so negative, but oh my, am I ready!
I'm sorry to hear all you ladies are having such awful symptoms. I had zero morning sickness in first tri (just food aversion to everything - I ate ritz crackers and water for 2.5 weeks straight) and still don't have any. I do get heartburn/indigestion a few times per week but haven't felt it so badly I needed to take anything. I'm getting more tired but still working 43-45 hours per week. I make sure to sleep 8-10 hours per night to keep up though. And my husband and I are leaving tomorrow (35+4) for a week long tent-camping trip with his students and their families! I can't wait! :-) And as soon as we get back and I reach 37 weeks, I want my baby girl to join our family! :-)
I have been pretty good the whole pregnancy but today I started feeling really sick. I guess it is one of those things they forget to mention, that you get morning sickness a second time around. Hang in there it is almost over :-)
yes, I feel queasy too but mostly after I eat a little bigger meal/snack. I try to relax when can or drink water to hopefully help but not always easy when I work with 2 yr olds.
Oh my goodness, yes. I think it's payback for getting NO morning sickness with any of my pregnancies. Drink lots of water. Sleep when you can. You're almost done!!
Not only have I been getting queasy, but I've been REALLY feeling the burn - heartburn that is. Which is weird cause they say after the baby drops then you don't get those sensations anymore, but I've been having them more since the baby dropped (literally they say baby is low enough to where he's almost ready to come out.
Yes! I am 35 weeks also and last week a random wave of nausea hit me and I actually vomited...which I only did once in the first trimester. Most days I feel nauseous off and on. Sometimes all it takes is changing my position to feel better and other times it lasts longer. I also feel like a slug these days too! I can hardly get anything done and when I push myself I end up paying for it for days! All of these things are of course "normal" according to my MD. Awesome.
I'm so glad someone posted about this. I tossed almost every morning before breakfast in my first and second trimesters, but now I feel nauseated especially if I don't eat right away. And oh the heartburn!
I am terrible nauseous all the time with a mix of heartburn of course. I thought first trimester was bad but this is definitely worst. I hope it's normal.
This symptom has crept up on me since Sunday evening. Combined with heartburn, dizziness, headaches, overwhelming thirst and not enough rest this definitely is the worst part of my three pregnancies. I didn't have this with my other kids.
The motivation to come to work is dwindling quickly since not being able to find a comfortable sleeping position is making it impossible to get more than 2-3 hours a night. I keep telling myself keep your eye on the prize because there are only a few more weeks to go but it gets harder by the day. The only good part is that the baby has dropped and she's head down.
My next appointment is on Monday - hopefully they will tell me some good news, like she'll be here in the next two weeks
Hope everyone feels better!

I am in the same boat as you are! Very queasy and the energy that I once had and motivation to get things done, is gone. I'm ready for this little guy to come out into the world and for my body to begin going back to normal!! I hope you feel better and just remember, we're almost there!!!
