I'm sure it depends on your child. When my DD was given formula on occasion, it upset her stomach a lot. I told her pedi about this and asked her if I should switch to another formula. She told me it was just because her stomach was used to BM and didn't think switching formulas would make a difference. Thankfully, after that my DD never had formula again.
You could always try it and see what happens. It might be ok for your lo.

My little guy has got formula on occasions, we don't have a problem with that but the right bottle has been elusive so he gets gassy and upset tummy from the faster flow... The only nipples we've been able to use are the ones from the similac hospital samples , just bought some tommy tippees hopefully those are everything people make em out to be!

We had a hard fine with the tommy tippees. If that doesn't work try Dr. Brown's with the premee nipples. The slower flow was better for our daughter.
