So my step-daughters 11th birthday is coming up in February. We would like to do something special for her but my mind is a blank. We have thought of
1) indoor water park
2) rollerskating
3) bowling
Those are awesome ideas, but I guess I'm looking for something different....
TIA
Re: birthday ideas for 11 year old ?? NBR
Just some ideas to maybe get the creative juices flowing; some I remember us doing for my youngest sister.
-Minute to win it type games. Easy to find ideas online, it's pretty popular now. The games can be challenging or pretty funny. Something easy to do at home.
-Spa Day. My mother hired an esthetician friend of hers, but you could always put an ad out for an aesthetics student looking to make a buck (they're just kids it doesn't have to be super professional). She came to the house and did facials, nails, that type of thing.
-One party we had at a local party hall with rock climbing wall, laser tag, that type of thing.
-If she's artsy, do an art theme party (there's like a million ideas for this on Pinterest). Try to encorporate some drawing or painting games. A girl I know did a party for her kid where they got a bunch of white clothes from the salvation army and let the kids have a "paintball fight". They threw sponges or pompoms or something soaked in paint so it was safer than actual paintball lol.
-Backyard carnival (or inside, I don't know what type of space you have). Again tons of decore ideas on Pinterest. Make some carnival type games with prizes, serve cotton candy and popcorn treats.
No problem! I know my sisters friends loved the spa party, it made them feel more grown up
Movie parties are fun too
Tea parties
Pick a fav book and base it on that
