Groupon has Yo Gabba Gabba Live tickets. DS loves Brobee & the rest of the Gabba Gabba gang. DH thinks LO will do fine at a live show, I don't. I thinking he probably needs to be closer to 2-2.5 years old, maybe.
DH and I had a good hour long conversation about this one night.....He thinks she will just love it but I think she will just sit for about 20-30 mins. She loves watching the show on Netflix and loves playing with her Gabba toys. We decided to wait until next year
I waited until 2 with DD1. She is a really calm kid, but I don't think she would have wanted to sit that long. We took her to Disney on Ice just after her 2nd birthday and she did awesome and it was fun to see her really excited about Rapunzel. We're taking her again in March, but DD2 will stay with Grammy.
We almost took LO to Sesame st. But decided against it. I just don't think he would sit throught it and tickets were insanely expensive. I think when he can sit through a 30 min show we'll take him.

Everyone points out good things to think about: price, how calm your LO is for sitting/being held for long periods of time. One other thing to think about is that everything looks different on TV than it does in real life. My DD was a kid that was terrified by people dressed up as TV characters. Even Santa was no fun. GL with whatever you decide!

Thanks for the input, ladies! I think I'm gonna hold off on it, for now. DS is so much of a "people watcher" that I think he would be way too interested in the people sitting around us & not pay attention to the show. I'm not willing to pay $90 for us to go out as a family without knowing LO will love it.
We've seen 30-minute shows at certain places, but she's all over the place then, especially while we are waiting for it to start. I wouldn't recommend it, but maybe if he's more chill.
