Childcare in Cambridge/Somerville

I'm due in April and likely going back to work in August ...we have started looking into both Nannies & Day Care centers in the area, weighing our options. Does anyone in the Inman Square/Central Square/Union Square area have a day care or nanny they are particularly fond of? What is everyone's experience with Nanny shares- positive or negative? We're first time parents so struggling with what will be best.

    My LO goes to Bright Horizons in Kendall Square.  She started in June and it seems to be going well.  If you choose a daycare, it's nice to be able to start in summer since it's outside of the cold/flu season and hopefully there won't be as much going around the infant room.  Good luck!

    Hi there,

    We're also first time parents, due in June. Currently looking into day care centers and nanny share. We are in Kendall Square.

    Have you been able to find out any more info on day care centers or how to find nanny share? If so, would love some help!
