Hi! Just a noob here :)

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have been TTC for ~1 month now. I am only 22 but have been diagnosed with PCOS an have had 4 abnormal pap smears with two Colposcopies that came back low grade abnormal. My OBGYN recommended this might be a good time to try to start our family rather than waiting too long and missing our chance. This was a huge decision for us! I am beyond excited to be doing this. I went off my BC (after being on it for 7 years) in December and had a regular period and it has been 29 days since. I have had a lot of 'symptoms' and had several friends and coworkers advise me to take a HPT. I have taken two (one this morning) and they were negative. I am going to take one again tomorrow because it is my husbands birthday and of course that would be a great bday present for both of us! I'm hoping with my history of problems this will be an easy task and won't be too heart-breaking. I'm glad there is a place for me to read and learn more about other peoples stories and be as educated as possible when it happens for us!

thank you! well...i did not do to testing kit or anything, but should be 15 dpo today. tested this morning with a clear blue plus digital and it said negative :

I know that cycles can be wonky after getting off BC. Most women on here recommend that you test once a week until AF comes or until you reach CD 60 then call your OB to see if she can jumpstart your cycle.
