I have always hand washed my baby bottles. We are in the middle of a kitchen reno and I will be without a kitchen sink for a few days. I want to just use the dishwasher to wash them but I have no idea how. I know, dumb question. I googled it but I still have questions!
Do you use a special setting? A particular detergent? And I assume you wash bottles alone, not with other dishes?
TIA...I know its probably a no brainer but I am confused :P
Re: Washing Bottles
I know it's sad but now that LO is older I stopped caring. Now I put his bottles in the dishwasher all the time. I do wash them with other dishes but were those ppl that sort of wash the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher. That way there isn't any gross food on them. I use regular cascade (our dishwasher calls for to run better). But we also just jet dry as a rinse aid.
You do what you think is best. You can separate them and do a cycle by themselves if it makes you more comfortable. You can also research up on the different detergents. But I figure, if we eat off our dishes it must be ok for him to drink out of his bottles with the same detergent. Just my thoughts, it's really up to you.
All of this. We usually end up hand washing all but once a week when I run the dishwasher.
