I need some breakfast suggestions. I know my breakfast right now is terrible (a zone bar). I need ideas that are quick and easy. I don't have enough time in the morning to spend a lot of time cooking breakfast. Help please!
As boring as it sounds...oatmeal. It's so easy and you can add whatever you want and cook it in the microwave. My fav is 1/2 cup of oatmeal, a cup of milk, 1/2 an apple, 1 TBL of almonds, dried cranberries, a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon. You can prep everything the night before.
A single serving container of greek yogurt and a TBL or two of granola, honey, fruit (if plain), nuts or whatever else sounds good to you.
Waffles. Van's makes a Power Grains waffle which has more protein than most waffles. You can eat them with greek yogurt, fruit, nuts, etc. My husband loves them with peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and apples.
Eggs. I boil a few at the beginning of the weak and then you can slice them and place them on an english muffin with a bit of cheese or anything else you like. Or you can microwave raw eggs in a cup and believe it or not they come out pretty fluffy. The only reason I avoid this is even with cooking spray, cleaning the cup is a pain.
All of these are quick and easy and if you need to make them at work, you can.
I have been on an oatmeal kick for months now. I keep a canister of quaker instant oats in the cupboard and usually eat it up with vanilla almond or coconut milk (and usually throw in a few chocolate chips. A banana is a quick, easy go-to breakfast as well.

You can also make oatmeal using steel cut oatmeal in a crockpot overnight (check out recipes on pinterest).
I try to change up my breakfast routine each day. I usually do a rotation of scrambled eggs/fruit, yogurt/fruit, whole wheat bread with PB and fruit, oatmeal, or cereal and banana.
I make organic oatmeal, a handful of blueberries, a capful of apple cider vinegar, a little maple syrup, and organic cinnamon (takes two mins to make and is yummy).
Lately, my go to breakfast is a microwave egg on half of an English muffin with some fruit. If you just crack the egg in a little dish sprayed in cooking spray, place a paper towel or napkin over it, and cook it for about 50 seconds (depending on your microwave) it comes out perfectly cooked and doesn't make the dish hard to clean. You can also use a mug. It's kind of like a fried egg, but not runny. Super fast and delicious. You could also do it with egg whites only.
