I am new intro

I had my missed miscarriage tonight... found out a few hours ago in the emergency room. I was 10 weeks 4 days and baby measured 7 weeks. I had no symptoms other than light spotting, no cramps and loss of symptoms.

Despite everyone telling me spotting and loss of symptoms was normal, it wasn't for me this time. I had a gut feeling something was off.

So I ask to join your group since the only other people I have who can relate to me are both newly pregnant and I don't want to bring up sad thoughts in this time for them.

I have no children of my own. I plan to try again in 1218 months or longer. At this point I am numb. I haven't let it sink in and hit me yet. If anyone has any advice for dealing with it I gladly welcome anything. I am at a loss...I have an appointment Monday to decide what to do since it is not passing on it's own. The spotting has stopped for a few hours. Does anyone know what usually happens?

    I am very sorry for your loss.

    Try the miscarriage board for questions tho, they might be able to answer questions better, the ladies here have all had late losses.

    9/11/13 - U/S shows 1 baby HR 135bpm! EDD: 4/30/13

    Yes - the miscarriage board might be a better resource for you, because all of us have experienced late pregnancy/infant losses. I'm so sorry for your loss though, and I hope that board can serve as a good support system for you.
