eating less?

We've been doing purees for 3-4 months already.  We tried to intorduce some table foods and that didn't go well, so I'm fine sticking to purees for now.  However, the last few weeks, DS has not been eating nearly as much as he used to.  In one sitting, he would usually eat cereal and a whole thing of Gerber fruits or veggies.  Now he'll eat some cereal and usually only about half a container of the purees.   I suppose he'll eat when he's hungry, but it just worries me a little bit that his solid intake has decresed.  Any thoughts?

    C is very unpredictable with her solid intake. Some days she'll eat like a champ and others days she will bat the spoon away before she even takes a bite. It doesn't worry me because she's still getting most of her nutrition from BM anyway. As long as he's taking milk / formula normal, I wouldn't be too concerned. It may just be a phase.

    LO wouldnt touch table food but was a champ with pures until he got sick and then didn't want to eat. Now That he is better, he suddenly will only eat the pure if I give him table food between bites! He loves trying to grab everything but mostly is fed table food by me. I don't understand it, but that is what is happening here. Maybe try rable food again?

    Maybe this is it.  It did seem to start happening when he was sick. Good to know though that the same thing is happening to other people as well....  Thanks!
