Elective ultrasound???

If I get the elective ultrasound just under 14 weeks does anyone think ill be able to find out the sex!?

    It also depends on where you go. There used to be a place here called ultra babies that would not not do an ultrasound earlier than 16 weeks.

    I would call and ask. The place by me doesn't do them until 16 weeks.

    See I feel like you would get more of a chance of having a boy prediction that early on when it could really be a girl. As I'm sure you know everyone starts with a dangle and then it goes up inside for a girl and stays out for a boy. This usually happens around week 14 I believe but could be wrong on that. I did an elective at 15w 3d and it was clear to me it was a girl before the tech said so. But like everyone said it depends on the quality of the machine the techs experience and the cooperation of the baby. I would probably at least wait one more week to be sure. The place I went to said they could determine as early as 14 weeks though so idk.
