Love love love this diaper bag!

I am so in love with this diaper bag by PPB. Can someone help me convince DH it is a good investment? LOL. This is our first pregnancy and we want 3. I have a $50 gift card for amazon so that helps. I feel a bit guilty but I love it so much. Anyone else getting a diaper bag that is a little pricey?

  • I paid a bit more than that for my bag on Gilt and it was a 400 dollar bag to start with. If you love it, get it.

  • I want one too!  I have a Kate Spade one and I think that was a little pricey but I don't remember how much I paid for it.  My daycare is in my office building so I don't want a diaper bag that looks shabby and a cheap one would fall apart soon.  If it was my DH, he would probably tell me to just go get it if I want it.  However, if you have to convince him maybe show him a childbirth video and then say I think that is worth a nice bag.

  • I bought one the day after thanksgiving from coach factory online. Reduced 358 to 120. How could I refuse. Most nice diapers bags are at least that anyway. Don't feel bad you need to buy things to make you happy also, it might be a while before making any big purchases for yourself.
  • I have heard the argument that it may get dirty or spit-up on, but I totally think it is worth it to spend money on a bag that you are going to be using ALL of the time. Go for it!
  • i am getting the isabella from stroksak! so excited but it is pricey...

  • I learned real fast to stick with cute and cheap, the stuff that will happen to your diaper bag makes spending a lot a waste. My first one was thrown up on and in, formula spilled inside, it had baby food stains on it and crumbs from all kinds of snacks. Yeah it is your purse for a few years but I guarantee you that you'll need a new one so stick with cheaper and cute.
  • Totally worth it! I'm on my 3rd child and I will say your going to see that bag a lot so if you find one your in love with it BUY IT! :)

  • My DH got me a Coach diaper bag from their online outlet for Christmas that was around the same price. I wouldn't feel bad about it at all. Afterall, you are going to be lugging it around for a year or so, you might as well like it. My friends that have bought cheaper diaper bags have ended up having to buy multiples. If it is something you love I would splurge on it!

  • I would get it if you like it. I got one that was significantly more with my first and I still use it. I love it because it doesn't scream "diaper bag". I've never had any issues with what other people claim about it getting ruined, maybe it's because it is a better quality one. I use mine fully stocked every single day even if I'm just going to the gas station.

  • Go for it.

I put an expensive diaper bag on my registry (not expecting to get it and planning to buy it myself with a completion coupon) and it was bought.  It had a lot of features I wanted plus great reviews.

  • I was able to get my PPB bag when I showed my husband how versatile it was...it does get dirty, but it cleans nicely!
  • Thats awesome, I really wanted the same bag in the light blue. My mom already whent and got it for me. She said it's better to spend more money on a bag that wont fall apart and can be used for baby #2.

Also just an FYI for all the comments about it getting dirty. You take it to the dry cleaners! That is where I take all my bags when they start looking a little down and dirty.

I completely disagree.  I think you get what you pay for and you won't need a new one if you buy quality.  I have 2 different PPB Boxy Backpacks (I get a new one for each kid) and they hold up.  I don't think $150 is expensive for something that you will carry everyday for at least a year or two.

FTR, a lot of the PPB bags have a protective fabric that you can simply wipe down.  I can also take out the diaper changing pad and wash it.

    BUY IT!
