So, we still aren't even showing signs of any teeth coming in yet. But, I'd like to start practicing for him brushing teeth.
Is it pointless to start the whole finger brush for him to get used to it before he has any teeth?

Re: Too early to?
True... I'm gonna pick one up tonight...
Now, ftm question... Is there a baby toothpaste you use? Or do you just use the brush? Obviously once he got teeth...
I don't use baby toothpaste at this point. I've seen some resources that say to use it, and some that say water is enough. Maybe when she has a few more, and is eating more solids, I'll add the toothpaste.
We started brushing when there was swelling and redness from teething. We picked up the brush at that link from walmart and our LO loves it. We sit with him and help him fit it on his gums. It must feel really good because it doesn't get old.
He gets excited when he sees it- hopefully that excitement continues through adolescence. We don't use toothpaste but probably will soon.
