New to the Board

Hello everyone!

My husband and I are waiting for our first child through domestic infant adoption.  It's been a long road to this point but I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that.  We had been trying for about 5 years before we decided to move forward with our adoption plans (we had planned to before we married-with or without IF).

With about five months of actively waiting (well over 6 years between it all, but who's counting), I was feeling like I need to get to know others going through this and hopefully be a support to the other waiting parents out there.

So hello and for those of you that are waiting, I'm hoping that your waits are short and your little ones will be soon in your arms.

    Hi I'm Aria I have a daughter Olivia who is 3 and am due with baby 2. I am not adopting but instead placing my baby. It's a trying experience no matter what side of the arrangement you are on. I am grateful for AP's everywhere who choose to go this route and be parents. I hope to see you around and feel free to look to me or any other people here for advice!

    01/10- Femara
    03/10- Femara
    07/2010- Clomid with injectables and IUI #1
    08/2010- IUI #2
    06/2011- IVF #1 BFP!
    09/2011- Miscarriage at 10 1/2 weeks
    11/2011- FET
    01/2012- Start Home Study process
    03/2012- Home Study approved and now waiting on our child to find us!
    07/2012- matched with a BM who is due in October!
    11/10/12- our son is born!
    11/13/12- court grants us custody!
     12/28/12- finalization! Always ours in our hearts, but.now also ours forever
