My tooth!!!!! Eeeewwwwy!

One of my tooth has gone bye-bye!

Last night I was eating a piece of bread with melted cheese (Like the most soft thing ever created). I had 2-3 bites and all of a sudden I hear "crack!" and I thought I maybe bite on a spice-thing in the pizza-spice, checked the teeth with my tongue, and continue eating. After chewing one time again I feel a big piece of hardness, and I take out 1/4 of one of my corner teeth! YUCK!

But I think the whole tooth is "dead", because I feel no pain, and I should - because I HUGE junk of my tooth is gone. I can see straight up in to the centre when the gum is..

Considering just going to the dentist to have them file it down rather than replacing it.. It's REALLY sharp!

    Yeowch!!

    I've had the same thing happen with a molar- eating popcorn and it cracked. I needed a crown- mine too did not hurt, but when 1/4-1/2 your tooth is gone, not much they can do. I wanted them to just pull it since it was my back molar, but they said it would mess up the tooth above it as well!

    OMG that is the worst feeling! Well this isn't the same thing, but my crown came ut while I was eating spaghetti and feeling that rock like thing in your mouth and knowing it's not going to be a good thing is the worst!! I would get it checked out right away because exposing the base of your tooth to food can really make it decay quickly and possibly cause an infection.

    Yeah, you need to see a dentist asap!  An issue with that tooth can cause the other teeth to have issues too.  They'll need to fix that or pull it or something...whatever dentists do to cracked teeth! :)

    Ack! I've never had that happen, but I know I'd go to the dentist ASAP. Sorry that happened to you!
    I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    Can't do it no sooner than wedensday... Foing back to Denmark on monday - arriving on tuesday - and I am NOT going to a dentist during the weekend!

    I cracked a tooth once. It turns out there was a large cavity in it, which is the reason it cracked so easily. Healthy teeth don't just break like that, so definitely get to a dentist as soon as you can. Good luck!
