Yes. But out of curiosity, what kind are referring to? Cheese, for sure. Chocolate, for sure. Meats yes but just as always, you have to make sure you're cooking the pieces through. What hesitation are you having?
I'm a little worried that some of the cheese recipes use a little beer in them, but I guess I was worried about cooking the raw meat in the oil and then cooking other veggies in there afterwards. Would there be any bacteria left over?

Well, for starters, they don't all have alcohol but even the ones that do are fine. It's a small amount, it cooks AND you're splitting the entire order with at least one other person, I assume. As to the bacteria, you only cook meats together (it's not like you're dipping bread in the meat cooking oil) and if the oil is hot enough to cook and kill bacteria on one thing you put in there, it's going to cook and kill bacteria IN the oil, kwim?

I'm sure it's fine. I had a miscarriage about 5 months ago, so I am paranoid about everything. I'm 8 weeks now so I'm further along than last time, I just don't want to do anything that could potentially be harmful

Oh Christ.
Is it pasteurized?
If its not pasteurized, is it heated until steaming?
Molten cheese is usually hot enough to steam. So, even if it isn't pasteurized you should be fine.
LFAF Summer 2016 Awards:
Probably less beer than the sip or 2 I take of MHs beer every now and again.
We are going to a fondue place for my birthday next weekend. I plan on having cheese, meat, AND chocolate fondue.
It's going to be amazing.
