Can I have a chart stalk?

Ok, I am trying not to be bummed and am looking for some possible hope...

BFN on 13dpo seems to me like it is hopeless and now I am waiting for my af.

My chart says I O'd on CD12. The first 2 temps after were taken late at 6 and 630am instead of 330am. If I "adjust" those temps it changes my O date to CD14. I have not adjusted the temps because Katharine said not to adjust.

Does anyone have any perspective?

I am sorry for the BFN. I agree with car about not adjusting. You know that there is the possibility that it may be incorrect.

it is just with my last 2 pregnancies I was the lucky person to get pregnant the first month we tried...so now here I am pretty much thinking month 2 was a bust and I am feeling very down. I promise I understand that 2 cycles is nothing in the grand scheme of things, and women on here have been trying way longer...but today I am wallowing in self pity and feel hopeless...thanks ladies

It's always frustrating when things don't happen when you want them to. But two cycles really isn't bad! Try not to stress too much. Maybe next month.

I know you are right...I guess I just assumed it would be easy again. Thank you for letting me cry...no one gets it in the "real world"

I think your chart is probably right, but it's possible you O'd a day or 2 later. You're only 13dpo though, and LPs can be longer than that. Sometimes people have an off-cycle with a longer or shorter LP than usual. Test again in a few days if no AF.

I understand you're frustrated, and I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress so much. It's only going to get worse each month if it doesn't happen for you right away. I got pregnant on cycle 4, which was my first cycle really charting, with the pregnancy I lost. So I thought it wouldn't take too much longer than that when we had to try again. But I'm on cycle 7 now with no luck so far despite perfect timing each month. It's incredibly frustrating and it's just so, so hard.

Finally, don't forget that you're not out until AF shows. Your temp is still way up, you are not out this cycle.

I hope it happens for you soon, but there's a chance that it won't. Please don't set yourself up for disappointment like this every month. A lot of people who had it happen the first time (or the first two times!) have to wait longer for subsequent children.

All of this. It is hard not to be disappointed every time but all that means is you try again. Two months is really nothing.

Now, with your first two BFPs, were you ED during your FW? You just picked up charting, which I think is good, but what else are you doing different?

With the first ones I used OPKs only. I BD ED for the day before the positive (the close day) to the day after the negative....usually a 4 day window. I never charted until our loss.

Thank you again everyone. I know I am whining over something that really isn't that bad...my rational mind knows that, my irrational mind just needs to catch up. I am going to be done wallowing, and go to the gym and try and enjoy my weekend.
