taking lo to the dentist

Has anyone taken their LO to the dentist yet? I'm thinking I need to make an appointment. She has some white spots on her teeth. From what I've read and from the pictures I've seen, I think it may be from fluoride. I'm not sure how she could have gotten too much of it though, given she was bf for 9 months and then only given formula made with bottled water. I gave her the fluoride drops and vitamins from the pedi but that is it.

Anyway if anyone has taken their LO and has some words of wisdom or warnings before we go...please share.

    I can not offer any advice with this as we have not taken DS to the dentist yet either. I hope your LO's teeth are fine and the appointment goes well.

    We took C to a pediatric dentist right after her 1st birthday.  The appointment was short, she sat on my H's lap while the dentist did a quick exam.  C did great (as and I was shocked at that).  We found the dentist in the aapd website.

    DD needs to go for her first visit, our pedi recommends at age 3. Any younger than that and there is no way they will understand what is going on or willingly sit there with their mouth open.
