....actually, I should say FOTY considering this was SO's "bad" and not mine...

I was sitting on the couch trying to sign up for an event run when I hear Gator saying "help.....help.....help.....help" and I tell her "just a minute and mommy will help you..."

I finally look over and she is holding a open box cutter in her hand, walking towards me, and is about to grab the blade.

SO claims that he made sure that he closed it before he set it down and that Gator must know how to slide it open. Sure SO......sure.

So I hid everything that was sharp from SO and from Gator. He cannot be trusted either apparently!

    Thank god she was okay! I had something similar happen when I caught L playing with MH's razor after just telling him the day before that he needed to put it on a higher shelf.

    Elsa, I'm glad she didn't get cut. Do you think that when she was saying help, she was wanting help reaching the cutter?

    Wishful, I hope S is okay. I would have cried too. DS did the same at his aunt's house but the coffee was cold. Thank God. I forget how tall he is and that he can now reach items on the counter.

    I don't think so because I could see her out of the corner of my eye playing with something. So it was already in her hand when she was saying help. From the color of it, I assumed it was just a toy that she has that is the same color/size.
