I haven't been on as much this week with traveling and running around looking at houses, but I had a really awesome confession, so I got on tonight to look for the FFFC. But there's no thread, and then I forgot my confession anyway because I went over to June 2013 and read a post about the craziness on August 2013's FFFC (and some others) - 8 pages of FFFC. Seriously. I didn't make it through half.

I'm sure whatever my confession was had to do with letting DS eat a bunch of processed junk this week - today was the first day all week we haven't eaten fast food because I have a phobia of using the dishes in the kitchenette at the hotel. I finally talked myself into making spaghetti. So if I mysteriously disappear, it's because I cooked with the hotel's dishes and caught some terrible disease Wink

Yeah - a couple of the ladies lurk on the other summer boards, then re-post any craziness. We're pretty tame, so we have to get our excitement somewhere, right? If there is ever drama, it usually ends in a DD and a GBCB.

That's funny! There are a lot of TTGP grads on the Aug '13 board and we like a lively debate. It was just getting too damn boring but, I think we got the board spiced up this week.

Ah - that's probably the difference. We seem to have a lot of PGAL ladies, and the tone has always been very nice, with a few who will call people out on stuff. There were a few posts where I thought about calling MUD but didn't, and when I checked later, they were being taken seriously. So either people's MUD detector is defective, or they just don't want drama. I'm sure we'll get it eventually.

I confess that I turned down DH tonight out of spite. I had given him 2 clear opportunities to get laid earlier in the day, which he declined. So when he sauntered into the bedroom looking for some with 12 minutes left until I had to get in the shower and go to work my response was "Uh uh. Go Away. I have 12 minutes until I need to shower." He claimed that was enough time. I informed him that while it might be enough time for him, it wasn't enough time for me to wake up enough to care that he was even in the room, much less do anything about it.
Don't have the nerve to mess with the last 15 minutes of my nap when you've already turned me down twice. That is sacred time, buddy.

Sorry in advance for this, but...

Hahaha. I guess I'm spiteful, too, because I would have done the same thing.

I took down my Christmas tree about 30 minutes ago. I was so done with the holidays that I didn't even want to un-decorate, I just wanted to ignore it. Obviously Christmas stuff doesn't lend itself well to being ignored, though, so I really had to get it done. Good riddance until next Season!
