1. I have made it through Insanity without missing any days so far. Yay! I feel kinda crummy today and my knee is bothering me a lot, so I'm kinda putting off my workout today. I am hoping some retail therapy and Mt. Dew will help me scrape up the energy to work out after lunch.
2. I have found that it is easiest for me to workout during DS's first nap of the day or right before his afternoon nap. He will usually tolerate watching me workout for about 20 minutes before he needs a change of scenery, so I have his floor time mat, jumperoo, and bouncy seat all in the den with toys ready by each one. If he starts to get fussy, I move him to another spot and keep going. Usually he will squawk a few more times and then forget to be grouchy b/c a toy gets his attention.

Good! My goals aren't too lofty so they are easy for me to meet. DS and I went to our Mommy and Baby Fit class on Wednesday. It's just an hour workout for mom but you can bring you baby with you. Yesterday I had a nice, long walk with a mommy friend. I've eaten all fresh and clean food this week. Down 1.5lbs!
2. Any tips or tricks for how you squeeze in workout time?
Just to do things that are baby friendly. Like our Mommy and Baby Fit class, walking places, etc. I like having DS with me so he can see how important being active is.

Pretty good, I have tried to walk more at work & I'm going to the gym tomorrow. I used my weight bands at work 3 days this week. So, I feel pretty good about things!
2. Any tips or tricks for how you squeeze in workout time? This part is so hard. I'd love tips from other moms who work outside the home! I brought my weight bands to work, so I use those now during my lunch break. I go to the gym on Saturday mornings, and I try to get up and walk around a lot at work. For example, I'll often walk over to someone's desk to talk to them rather than sending an email. I also try to take the stairs whenever I can. We're moving offices in a few weeks and we're going to have 4 treadmill work stations which I'm super excited about. Hopefully, I'll be able to walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes broken up throughout the day.

i think i just lost holiday weight... i probably packed on ten pounds in the month of december alone... ugh.
but i have been just counting calories..... using the LOSEIT app on my iphone! it has been pretty great! you can connect to family and friends who are also using the app and motivate each other and see their progress. it seems to be pretty similar to My Fitness Pal, i think.

I'm a sahm so I signed up at a gym that has a wonderful childcare center and DD loved it this week. This allowed me to get to the gym.
