Carseat dilema

So here is the situation. DH and I both do drop off and pick up during various times during the week. We are known to take either truck (his or mine) when we go to dinner, on vacation or just around town. So we utilize each truck equally for LO's needs as well as taking him with us places. So here is the dilema. We are going to need to move him to an actual carseat as opposed to the carrier, so is our best option to purchase two carseats, one for each truck, or strap and unstrap the carseat at least twice a day and reattach into the other vehicle?

I would definetly purchase 2! Some are a real pain to install and move back and forth.

Definitely buy 2 seats. I can't stand having to mess with DS's seat, especially if we are on our way somewhere.

From what you're saying I would definitely purchase two. Right now a lot of places are clearing out last seasons stock and style so hopefully you can find a good deal. I'm not sure if BRU will be having their trade in sale soon but that's something else to look into to save a few bucks.

I have the same problem coming up. I drop off LO and husband picks her up plus sometimes my mother in law needs to go places. So right now we have three bases. We got them on good sale but I don't want to have to buy three seats. Probably by two one for each our cars and go from there.

For safety precaution, definitely 2. That way if you're in a hurry, tightening the belt properly won't get overlooked accidentally and also for convenience factor.
