Where's the fast-forward button?

I always heard that pregnancy flies by...but since I got my BFP the day after Christmas, time feels like it is simply dragging by.

Maybe it's because I have my first u/s next week, and the first u/s is where I found out last pregnancy that I had a blighted ovum. I have so many hopes riding on that first appointment...I feel like it's NEVER going to get here.

Fast-forward, fast-forward, fast-forward...

I remember the 4 weeks between my 1st appointment (When we found out it was twins) and my 2nd appointment felt like a lifetime. Once I was going to the Dr. twice a week in the 3rd trimester, it flew by pretty quickly!

This week has gone by so.slowly. I would love to speed it all up a bit! I'm sure life will get busy again soon enough, which may help. But until then.....

I feel like the days go slowly but the weeks fly by. I cannot believe I'm already 6w1d, but at the same time, counting down to my ultrasound on the 21st is killing me.

I definitely think that the first few weeks are agonizingly slow because we're kind of in limbo, especially waiting for first appointments. It can be hard to take your mind off it, ya know? Finding distractions is the key to your sanity!

I have been thru two pregnancies and it has never flew by fast. I think they are talking about looking back. Looking back everything has flew by. You will see once baby is born.

It does seem to go by so slowly. I bet it'll go by faster once we are out of 1st trimester. And then it'll probably slow down again once we're nearing our delivery date. haha
