To Those of you Having twins...

Did you suspect? Any symptoms out of the ordinary?  I suspect i am having twins but have no real basis for this, they just run in my family and i am over 35.  I can't wait for my ultrasound in 1 week!

Re: To Those of you Having twins...

  • I had no clue! Wasn't sick at all. Was nervous to even find out if we had one healthy baby... Instead we saw two! : good luck!!

  • We had no idea either, nor did we get pregnant though treatment, so we were totally surprised. I can not compare symptoms to anything because this our first time pregnant.

  • I suspected, but had some science and odds to back it up- we did IVF and transferred three embryos, so I knew there was a chance and sure enough it is twins!

  • Had NO idea.  The doc just ordered an ultrasound because he was having trouble pinpointing a heartbeat.  Never figured we'd be hearing two!  Good luck!

  • I was completely shocked.  I do have "morning" sickness....more like all day sickness, but it is actually LESS severe than last time.  It actually comes and goes, tends to be worse in the evening.  I feel a little flu like most of the time.  My boobs don't hurt that much at all.  My stomach seems less bloated than last time.  But the thought of most food disgusts me.

My first daughter, I threw up for 9 months and my second I had a 24/7 flu feeling for 3 months.  So this is actually an improvement.  So much that I get a little scared some days when I don't feel so bad.
