I throw names at MH every once in a while to see what kind of reaction I get from him, and secretly write down the ones that get "I don't know" or "Maybe" (Because he never will say "I like that").

Wdyt of Leo? Not short for anything, just Leo. Probably Leo Alan?

I love Leo! It's on our list. I don't think it needs to be short for anything - there were plenty of popes and kings named Leo.

Ah man!! If you want to convince him, you can tell him that Leo is so Latin that it actually could be considered native to almost any of the Romance languages. Leo wouldn't be out of place in Germany, France, Spain or Italy!
