Blocked duct 2 weeks after weaning

My last pumping session was two weeks ago yesterday, and last night I started feeling a sore spot on one breast. This morning, it's definitely sore and I can feel the block.

What's the best management practice for this sort of thing? Last time I had one, I used a hot pad and nursed/pumped the heck out of that side - but since I'm not nursing/pumping, I'm at a loss for what to do!

  • I find that massaging the spot is the best way to get rid of my blocked ducts. I push forward on it, as I I'm trying to squeeze the milk out.
