...really is magic! Especially when it comes to red crayon on white walls.
Last week, we finally got around to picking up a small box of crayons for DD. She colors a lot when we visit others, but we didn't have any crayons at home.
Anyway, I made a big deal to DH about how we'll only want to let her have them with close supervision, one or two at a time, and then they go back in the box on a shelf when she's done. Great, right?
Fast forward to last night when I'm making dinner and the two of them are playing in the living room. Or so I thought. I had that "weird feeling" where something just isn't quite right, so I peeked around the corner. DH was zoned out watching a cartoon, while DD was quietly scrawling a fancy abstract on the living room wall. Lovely!
Anyway, DH hops up and starts trying to scrub it away with a dishrag and dish soap. Nope, not working! But I remembered MIL had given us some Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads a couple months ago, so we gave them a try. It was magic! The wall came clean right away. Just wanted to pass on the tip in case anyone else has a little artist on their hands ![]()
Re: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...
It cleans the tub so nicely and has even gotten permanent marker off of the wall!
This is good info! I meant to ask if anyone had any other uses for them. Permanent marker - that IS magic!
I used it to get my white stove top GLEAMING!! I can't wait to try it on the inside of my oven!!
We bought a four-pack over the weekend, and I'm enjoying it!!
It took a bunch of stains off the stove top and some tire skid marks (from my jogging stroller) off of the doors in my house.
I really like it!!
OMG great idea. Our stove top has gotten...rather gross. LOL. Let's just say that basic cleaning measures are no longer doing the trick. I'm def trying this out today!
I love the magic eraser! Definitely does a great job on tub soap scum. Much less scrubbing than traditional cleaners.
