We're so, so excited for DD to have a little sister! I hope they grow up to be BFFs like me and my sister
Hooray!!! Congratulations!! I am assuming that everything looked wonderful at the scan!?
Haha, yes, in my excitement to reply, I forgot about details!
Scan looked fantastic, baby is developing beautifully.
The doctors had a very (very) slight concern that I may have a fibroid on my uterus, but they aren't concerned about it impacting the pregnancy at this point. They initially thought it may be a split off of a secondary piece of placenta, but are leaning towards a fibroid. It is very small so the doctor said it may stretch out and become invisible as my uterus grows. I go back in eight weeks so they can take another look just to make sure it isn't an issue. But it was a great scan, baby was very active and cooperative so they were able to get all the necessary measurements.
Thanks for checking in Things are finally "getting real" for me...even though I'm nearly halfway along!
