  I use my ring sling the most now that DS is older and wants up and down a lot. It's great for a hip carry.

  I will need to look into getting one. Where did you purchase? We are pretty new. We have only ever had the one carrier and I just lucked out with a random purchase and up until now it has been wonderful... so i never really had to look around. Just general stores like BRU?

  No, BRU does not carry ring slings.

  You'll either want to go the new route and purchase from a site like paxbaby.com or other babywearing website online (sleeping baby productions makes great slings!), or find a used one through the babywearing swap groups either on facebook or thebabywearer.com (but I hate tbw because of the hoops they make you jump through).  A local baby wearing group would also be a great place to try out different carriers before choosing one.
  

  Awesome! thanks for the suggestions. I never thought to try to find a local babywearing group. I'm going to go on the hunt this weekend, as that would be an amazing resource!
