I'm doing pretty good. Started a sugar detox and getting back to working out. Yay me! Fussed at hubs for not helping out more. I told him I understand he works and needs his naps but his kid needs to see and spend time with him. Not just watching him sleep or leaving for work
When was the last time you bought something for yourself?
I fully intend to whenever my child support comes and after I pay bills. My hair is my obsession...I'm trying to make my health a bigger one.
When was the last time you took a nap?
Yesterday for the 30 mins I dosed off trying to get him to fall sleep.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Pretty much....its just the mid day nap turns into a mid day struggle because I'm trying to her him to take it in his crib not our bed and he ends up waking up and turns into an afternoon nap. Teething isn't helping the situation.
What is your favorite part of the day?
When everyone is home and get to hear about their days. Plus I can give Amir to daddy and have some mommy and daughter time in the kitchen ::smiles:::

Nope because either he's sleep, or sitting with his boppy and a few toys watching me. I like to have him in eye sight.
I started exercising again so the endorphins are making me feel awesome.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself?
Last Saturday we all went to the mall and I bought some eye cream at Sephora.
When was the last time you took a nap?
Last Friday I stayed up with Mina from 37 so she could sleep propped up. She had a cold and wasn't sleeping well. My Dad had the day off work so he took her for three hours. It felt so good to sleep.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Sort of. She takes a nap every three hours or so. Sometimes it's a long nap, other times its a cat nap. I try not to stress about it because she seems to pick up on if I'm stressed.
What is your favorite part of the day?
It's a toss up between her wake up smiles first thing and when DH comes home from work. I love our family time.

Not consistently. Luckily.
How are you holding up? I would say okay. The last week and a half have been beyond intense though. Looking forward to going on vacation at the end of the month.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself? There was a day between Christmas and New Year's where I took the kids to Target. I bought myself a slouchy winter hat and a purse that was on clearance.
When was the last time you took a nap? What are those? Oh wait, I did take a 15 minute nap the other night (Monday, I think) when DD was sleeping and DH was with DS.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day? A routine, yes. A schedule, no.
What is your favorite part of the day? Not really sure. Although my days are pretty mundane right now, I do find pleasure in the small things. When my DS smiles so wide or hearing DD laugh.

Pretty good. Been sleeping slightly more post holidays being home and started running again (aka run/walk) so it feels good that I'm doing that for myself

I bought myself some new clothes for the first time since maternity blech clothes; with my birthday money that I refused to spend on anything other than myself

Tuesday I took a 20 min one when LO was asleep. I don't like napping cause it makes me groggy but I couldn't stay awake for some reason that day

No, I doubt we ever will. I follow her cues

Usually. It's probably the only time I don't feel bad; I usually put her on the floor with her toys but she screams knowing I'm going to walk away. Girls gotta go!
How are you holding up?
Some days better than others. DHs work schedule is burning me out because I get help with Chloe MAYBE 2 hours a day. Not enough.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself?
Last week I bought a new crochet hook and some yarn. It's to make a wedding gift for a friend to go with what we are buying her, but since I enjoy crocheting I consider it something for myself.

I really can't remember. It might have been right before Christmas

No but I'm trying to get better. I'm working on writing out a baby and cleaning routine... If not routine at least check list. The only thing routine currently is that after the first nap of the day is bath time.
What is your favorite part of the day?
Nap time. Lol but no probably after 5pm. Chloe takes longer naps then usually so I have time to tidy and for a few minutes I feel like I have my *** together. That and I feel like the end of the day is in sight so I can celebrate that I survived.

When was the last time you bought something for yourself? I went to the craft store last night, and bought a whole bunch of fun stuff to work on projects for a bridal shower that I'm planning. It's not exactly for me, but I'll enjoy doing it all!
When was the last time you took a nap? I have no idea.

What is your favorite part of the day? I enjoy getting up before the boys, and having some time to myself to relax before our day starts.

Holding up ok, just about but a glass in the bouncy chair and the baby in the dishwasher.
The last time I bought something for myself was so long ago, I think it was a pair of hunting boots.
Nap? Oh I want one, can I buy that?
No real routine, I still end up on the couch with him in my arms for naps which has been difficult. I manage to get out for a hike each morning with the dog and baby in the Moby.
Favourite part of day is the morning hike.
Screaming makes going to the bathroom so difficult.
How are you holding up? Pretty good. Wish I had a 'break' sometimes, but it's going well.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself? Does yarn count? I bought some the other day. Other than that, IDK.
When was the last time you took a nap? Yesterday, accidently. I laid down with Cali to help her fall asleep faster and we all ended up taking a 2 hour nap. While it felt good, I had too much to do.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day? Yes and no. We get up around the same time everyday and her morning and evening are pretty routine, her mid-day is all over still. I am writing it down right now to see if there is any patterns and will be putting her on a more scheduled nap routine soon.
What is your favorite part of the day?
It depends, but I tend to like the mornings. She is always super happy.

Does your baby scream every time you go to the bathroom too? He doesn't scream, but he fusses every time I leave the room. When I shower, I just put him in the bouncer in the bathroom.
How are you holding up?
Much better. Started going to a zumba class 3x and walking LO 30 minutes a day and some of the exercise videos on the on demand channel to finally try and fit into my spring clothes. Also DH started doing bath and bed time with LO for me everyday now so it helps to give me some time "off" from about 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. (which is his first wake up).

Hehe I constantly order random stuff on amazon since shopping is so difficult with LO. Plus I love reading the reviews on things before I buy them so I don't waste money. The last thing I ordered was an 80 piece canvas jewelry organizer to finally organize the huge tangled clump of jewelry on my dresser.
When was the last time you took a nap?
LO is now waking up at 6 a.m. for a feeding and then going back to sleep until 10 a.m. (yaay!) So I nap during that time for a few hours then play on the internet a bit before starting the day.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Getting closer to a schedule! We are sleep training (I am listening to the audio ferber method while cooking/cleaning during the day) I am halfway through it and since I have been working on his sleep associations with naps-he now takes 2-2 hour naps. The times are kind of random but I can usually get a lot done.
What is your favorite part of the day?
When LO wakes up with the biggest smile; also watching him fold his hands together while he BF.

No-He has gotten rather clingy lately-and doesnt enjoy his swing,bouncer, or floor mat anymore so I feel like it is a battle everyday to get him to spend time playing alone.
How are you holding up? Okay. I was super emotional for a few days and then AF showed up and evrything made sense. I've been making dinner EVERY night! And I've started to rediscover my love of cooking.

When was the last time you took a nap? 15 minutes yesterday with Lo sort of comfort nursing. Before that, last Sunday I think it was, DH took herfor 2 hours so I could sleep. It was glorious.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day? Mostly, 6am- Wake up and eat. 8am- nap til 10, wake up and eat 10-12 errands 12-1 nap, wake up and eat 1-3 play 3-5 eat and play some more 5-7 get ready for dinner and wait for daddy to get home. 7pm- 6am sleep
What is your favorite part of the day? Morning when she's so happy to see me
Does your baby scream every time you go to the bathroom too? Ha ha. No she doesn't. And I count that as a blessing.
ETA: I bought myself some sexy heels for 7 bucks at Goodwill a couple weeks ago. Never been worn. I can't wait to wear them somewhere!

How are you holding up? holding up really well i think. now that the holidays are over we're trying to get back onto a routine, not just for naps but for me to get the housework done. i've made dinner every night this week (DH's cousin is in town for training) and the house has gotten more messy because i'm making more complicated meals than usual... must find a middle ground between yummy food and messy house.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself? since before LO came. I got laid off a week after LO was born and DH took 2 months of PFL to be home with us and that was reduced pay. last couple months have been beyond tight.
When was the last time you took a nap? last week, LO and i laid down for a nap and instead of her 1 hour naps she and i were down for about 2 1/2 hours.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day? 2 hours up, 1 hour down, bath around 6pm, bed between 6:30 and 8. while up she doesn't always eat right off anymore so we get in play time and books anywhere in that 2 hour period.
What is your favorite part of the day? first morning nap. that's my time for a cup or 3 of tea.
Does your baby scream every time you go to the bathroom too? nope, for the most part she's good about letting me use the restoom. if i put her on the floor with a couple toys she's ok. and she hangs out either on the floor or in her bouncer in the Bathroom when i shower.

Some days are better than others, but pretty happy overall.

Wow, I guess it's been a while. Coffee? I love to shop, but I'm trying to reign it in. I don't want to be stay at homeless.
When was the last time you took a nap?
Last week when my parents were here. It was glorious.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Sort of. I mean, it's definitely not an exact science, but she prefers to do things at roughly the same time. For a while, if we didn't do her nap routine she would go BSC.
What is your favorite part of the day?
It used to be morning, until she started waking up at 5:30. So I'll say when we go on our walk.

Nope. She's a big fan of screaming at other times though.
How are you holding up? Today not so great because somehow I turned into an insomniac 2 days ago and I am effing tired. Also, my 2-year-old. Yeah.

How are you holding up?
We just broke Avery of her swaddle and that was HELL. BUT, now that she can roll onto her belly, she has been sleeping SO MUCH BETTER. Her naps are longer which means I get stuff done around the house!! YIPPEE. Now we are only two days in, but I'm hoping this is a new thing.
When was the last time you bought something for yourself?
Just upgraded my housewife uniform yesterday (trying to get away from my sweats and bathrobe all day). Bought some HUE leggings and long tanks. HUE leggings are the best ever.
When was the last time you took a nap?
I am so jealous of people who can nap. I have never been able to so I can't remember...maybe when I was pregnant.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Yes, for the most part. Working on setting up a play area in my office so we have a central place for Avery to play with all her stuff-music, mirror, play mat, books, lots of floor space. Bonus: If she is playing nicely by herself, I can work!
What is your favorite part of the day?
Mornings when she first wakes up. She is so happy and mellow and I am a morning person. I also love her bedtime routine because she is so happy during bath time and story time.

How are you holding up?
Doing pretty well I think. Hopefully starting a new walking routine and now that DH has changed jobs (thankfully!) he is home for dinner every night and so I can have guaranteed down time!
When was the last time you bought something for yourself?
I bought myself a mani/pedi two weeks ago. It was awesome. A month ago I bought some new clothes including a pair of Levis that look awesome on me and will look even better when my muffin top is smaller.

last week, i'm not a good napper.
Do you have a routine established with LO for during the day?
Yes. If DS wakes up before 6:30, I make him go back to sleep. I snuggle him until he's down-the reason for this is I don't want him waking up DD too early and I also don't want him up too early either since it messes with his morning nap. DD wakes up at 7 like clock work and she'll go out to the kitchen and eat a granola bar and watch Disney Jr. DS wakes up around 7:30 for the real wake up. We all have breakfast, then take DD to preschool by 9, come home and DS naps, depending on how long his nap is I will either a)nap, b)shower, c)clean,d) play online, e)take DS on walk, e) run errands. Pick up DD at 11:45, have lunch at home. DS takes nap. DD will have quiet time in her room while I a)nap, b)shower, c)clean, d)play online, e) play with DD, f) all go on a walk if DS wakes up too early. Depending on how well DS napped he may or may not need a third nap. Around 4 I am starting dinner. Depending on length of third nap/if any, DS is usually bathed by 5:30, then I feed him and put him down and he'll usually fall asleep by 6:30. Meanwhile DH is in charge of DD, he gets her bathed while I'm nursing DS and finish up dinner if necessary. Then DH, DD and I eat dinner. DD goes to bed by 7. DH and I then finally get to have us time. Which usually includes dessert of some kind and a fun show to watch.
What is your favorite part of the day?
Honestly any time I am NOT home. I am always home.
Does your baby scream every time you go to the bathroom too?
Um, no. That would be annoying. He'll just be in the jumper, exersaucer or floor with his toys. I play with him but he's also good playing on his own like DD was.
