I was telling my supervisor that I've started getting sharp pains in my upper right ribs, usually a throbbing or ache - she immediately said I'm having a boy as she had the exact same pain with her son. We're not getting our A/S for another 11 days so I'm curious if anyone else has had these pains and if so do you know the gender of your baby?
I was thinking, if boys carry higher then I guess it would make sense that my ribs might have to start expanding to make room, but then again I'm completely assuming that's what happens

I just don't think there's any way why you are experiencing has anything to do with the sex maybe it is a gas pocket under your ribs.
I should clarify, my pain isn't constant, it randomly comes and goes. At first I thought maybe it was gas but it's a specific area and it never ached before the pregnancy so I'm assuming it's pregnancy related.
Also, I don't actually think the pain location specifies gender, I just thought it would be fun to see if anyone else had this that maybe had a boy since my supervisor seemed so sure
