I had my second appointment and my first was yesterday. I got the pap and breast exam. Then my doc pressed on my stomach and I am measuring 6 weeks ahead.
I am suppose to be 10w1d and measuring 16! He said he is concerned it may be a molar pregnancy and giving me an ultrasound Monday.
I am very scared...
Any one else ever measured a few weeks ahead and NOT had bad news on an ultrasound?
EDD Aug. 7, 2013.
Calculated by early ultrasound in emergency room and beta draw.
My symptoms so far have been food aversions, cravings, and fatigue.
No spotting, cramps, discomfort, or nausea.
For the past 2 weeks I have only had fatigue.
Any ideas or similar stories?
Re: molar pregnancy?
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I'm not a doctor, but I don't see how you could have seen a perfectly normally developing pregnancy and then have it turn into a molar pregnancy.
Same here. My understand of a molar pregnancy is that something forms but it isn't a baby and it doesn't have a hb.
I measured way ahead with DS and suspect I am with this one too but we later found out that I had several large fibroids. They often respond to pregnancy hormones so they can make you grow bigger than you should.
What I don't get is how your doctor "pressed on your stomach" and can tell that you are measuring 6 weeks ahead.
Probably by fundal height?
