OK, I just need to AW this - The girls are watching Dora. Backpack just asked the kids to say "Map", and DD2 is yelling "MA!" "MA!" at the TV. 

May I remind you that my kid's vocabulary counts a grand total of maybe 6 words? Hearing her respond to the TV just made me burst with pride :D

    Thanks to Dora and Mochila (Backpack) and you and DH she'll be speaking 12 languages before she's 5!!  

    Good for her!!  I LOVE when they explore a new word!!

    LOL - DD1 was counting the other day. It went: Un, deux, trois, four, five, seven (not sure where six went - lol), ocho, nueve, ten.

    That is so cute!  DD is also not a talker.  maybe 8 words, but some of them are animal sounds - which her doctor says count.  In her case, though, she could probably go for a little less TV Embarrassed

    I wish DS would talk back to the TV! Well, he says no when a question is asked, but that's it. Go Dora!!

    DD1 NEVER talked back to the TV. Ever. She just doesn't want to play along, I guess.

    Cute! Dd still only has one word. DS tells at TV all the time she stares at him then TV like WTF. She'll be 10 before she starts talking. :
