I saw this awhile ago- a friend, who also has twins, posted this with the caption adding- "add another kid- and that is how my nights are spent".
Which is why our boys have NEVER slept in our bed- it is hell to get them back into their own- so best not to start a bad habit, and until last Saturday DH and I only had a queen bed...however even though we now have a King- they are still only sleeping in their bed.
The few times that J has gotten up in the middle of the night and we tried putting him in bed with us, he doesn't view it for sleep. He tries to climb DW and myself while WE try to go back to sleep. This usually lasts for a maximum of 15 minutes before one of us takes him back to his room.

Off topic but how are you liking your king sized bed? We recently upgraded to a king from a double! Its amazing but sheet sets are so expensive.

I've only let G sleep with us if hes super sick so he can sleep well. I end up not sleeping at all though cause he tosses and turns a lot.

I love our new bed- it has a awesome thick pillowtop- so it needs the extra deep sheet sets- yep even more expensive. However, I did ask for sheets for Christmas and my parents bought two sets- so while I droped $150 on a duvet cover and $60 for shams- I escaped the sheets costs. Oh and I laugh now because I could use a stool to get into bed it is so high LOL. But oh so comfy and I have actually slept 6 hours- which I usually only sleep 2-4 hours a night.
I'm so jealous of this mattress talk. We have an old queen that is so bad that it rolls DH and I into the center and makes me HAVE to cuddle. The nerve!!
DD is position 1 for sure. Fortunately she only actually sleeps in our bed if she's sick or had a bad dream, both are very rare. Mostly she thinks our bed is the best toy in the whole world.
Too funny! And I totally can't relate actually! DS has never slept with us b/c it is clearly only party time once he's in our bed. He doesn't want to, we don't want him to, it's actually a win-win-win (as they say on The Office ).

All of this. He thinks it's playtime, therefore no one sleeps. Which is great, because honestly, who wants a 2-year-old sleeping in their bed?!

2 DS has only slept with us a handful of times when we spent the night on the spur of the moment kind of thing. He is definitely like that baby!!
