Milkies Milk Savers?

Does anyone use them? They seem like a good idea so I'm curious if they actually work or not.

Re: Milkies Milk Savers?

  • I was just looking up reviews on Amazon. Overall, they seem to work well, but spill if you bend over. I think I may try one.

    Pros

    • Fits variety of breast sizes & shapes well.
    • Saves breastmilk that would otherwise be wasted.
    • Comes with a travel case.
    • Non-leaching materials are 3rd-party tested for safety.
    • Recyclable when you're done using the product.

    Cons

    • Not dishwasher safe.
    • Not terribly discreet. Hard to use in public.
    • Probably not necessary for most breastfeeding moms with a good supply.

  • Seems weird. And messy.  And you might not leak at all.

  • I use one and i love it.  Yeah, you have to be careful that you dont bend over and spill it  but its really not that bad. Between both boobs i get about .5 oz or more with  each feeding.  i keep it by where i normally feed..  then just dump it into a storage bag when im done.   Ive never had to use it in public

  • I just got mine in the mail this past week and I LOVE them! I was very leery about buying them after some of the reviews that I read.. but they really are amazing! I've saved almost 20oz just in the past 4 or 5 days!

  • I got these from BRU on clearance, they're essentially the same thing as Milkies. Difference is that they have 2 shells, one for ventilation after nursing, and a sealed one for collection of milk. Doesn't spill, and are very comfy.

  • My sister used one and got me one for my shower.  I really dislike pumping and it was an easy way to collect milk without having to do anything!  I also got anywhere from 0.5-1.5oz per feeding.  I didn't ever take it out in public, just used it when I was at home.  I found it to be a helpful product.
