Intro! First pregnancy at 36

Hello! I am 4W 4D now, found out Christmas morning that we were pregnant & we are so excited, this will be a first child for both of us.

Looking forward to meeting a few other women close to my age that are pregnant. I don't know much about pregnancy other than what I've read, so I could use a few women to talk to for support.

    BFP#3 - missed m/c 6.11.12 @ 9w3d, d&c revealed extra chromosome 15

    Congrats!! I am also 36 and pregnant with our first!! Looking forward to getting to know some of the ladies here...I am 13w6d today..Heres to healthy happy pregnancies!!

    What a coincidence!  My husband and I found out we were pregnant on Christmas day too!  I am 38 and this is my first pregnancy.  Still so many questions!  How are you feeling?

    I hear ya! I'm doing good other than having a bad cold & the usual pregnancy symptoms.... sore breasts, frequent urination, fatigue, nausea etc...  I have my first doctors appointment on the 7th. How are you feeling?

     I am 35 and we found out a week before Christmas we are expecting our first too.  I am 6w 1d now.  I to am looking forward to meeting new ppl to share and experience w/.  Happy pregnancy all!  :)

    Congrats and welcome!! I'm 36 and expecting our first in August. We went through infertility treatments for more than a year and a half and finally got the best news early this month! It was so tempting to shout it out to the world, but taking caution since I'm considered high risk due to my age and weight. I am so excited to share on these boards though!!!

    I'll be 36 in a month and expecting my 1st as well! So far, been feeling absolutely normal, just tired and peeing more often. I don't feel like anything has changed at all! My 1st Dr appointment is Wed so hoping that will make it all feel real!

    January 2014: RE #2, blood work repeated, homozygous MTHFR c677t, SHG clear
    BFP #4 4/7/14 EDD 12/15/14 Our rainbow was born 12/6/14 at 4:26pm! <3

    Hi! Also 35, DH is 37, and expecting our first. We got engaged Dec 14 and found out we were expecting a week later! A little before we were planning, so we are both settling into the idea of becoming parents and flip flop between being over the moon and being anxious! Glad to read others' experiences!!!

    Wow Congratulations! How exciting to receive a BFP during the holidays!! I just celebrated my 36th Birthday last week, I'm a Christmas baby.  I'm too will be expecting my first baby this coming March.  So far my pregnancy has been really great! I only had a small case of early gestational diabetes but it has been under controlled with diet and exercise.  Everything else, with baby's health, my weight gain as been really great!  I had Morning sickness from week 8 thru week 15.   After week 15 i began feeling really good and full of energy.  I found my baby's gender by week 21 and now i'm just trying to find the best possible name for our baby boy!  That has to be my most difficult part of this pregnancy.  Choosing a boys name is not easy for me.  But hopefully my husband and I will have one soon.  Good luck and welcome to this board!! All the ladies are truly wonderful and helpful :-)

    Congrats to all of you!! I had my first at 36 thru IVF!! It's an amazing experience enjoy all of it!! We are having second IVF in April and if every thing works out I will be 39 when I have second!!
