City Mini Questions

I am pregnant with my 3rd child and I need to get a new stroller since I sold my old stroller last year. I was looking at the City Mini and was wondering what accessories you all think are a must. We also have to get a new car seat as well since my Peg Perego will be expired when this baby is born. I was looking at the Britax  B-Safe which the City Mini has an adapter for. Can you let me know if you have the Britax car seat with the city mini and are happy with the fit? Thanks so much!

Re: City Mini Questions

  • If you're going to get the B Safe, then you should get the B Agile stroller. It's the same as the City Mini but I don't think you need an adaptor bar, the seat clicks right in.

  • Aside from the CM adapter bar, nothing.nbsp; We didn't get a tray or a belly bar.nbsp; I use these little bungee things can't remember what they're called... snack keeper?nbsp; cup keeper? for his snack traps and sippy cups so he can't drop/throw them.nbsp;

    Actually I forgot... I also got a sunshine kids parent console.

  • If you are getting the B-Safe car seat, why not just get the B-Agile?  The car seat snaps right into the stroller, no separate adaptor needed.

  • I have read reviews on both over the last few weeks from several different sites and from what I have read people seem happier with the City Mini purchase then the Britax B-Agile. I am not 100% sure if we will go with the Britax car seat. I have tested both strollers out in the store and do like the City Mini stroller better. Just wish it had a car seat that fit in without an adapter.
  • We have the adapter for our Gracco car seat and the fit is fine. It was a pain to install, but now that it is installed its easy to use. We also got the diono buggy buddy stroller organizer, which is very similar the the parent console but much cheaper. I love it, holds my drink, a bottle, my cell phone, etc. We also got the child tray but have not used it yet as she is still in her infant seat with the adapter. We love our City Mini!

  • If your LO is really active as he/she gets older, I recommend either the belly bar or the child tray.  I didn't get either with DD#1 and was always sorry.  I'm getting the child tray this time around!  Also, if you live where it's really cold, the hand-warmer is PHENOMINAL!!!! I love mine. Also, the first time around, I got just the universal parent drink holder and felt it was super annoying because I couldn't keep it tight in the right position and still close my City Mini.  This time I am picking up the parent tray so that I have a place to put my phone, my drink, etc.

  • Looove my city mini! It is my favorite stroller (and I'm embarrassed to say how many I have...)

    We have a fabric, velcro strap cup holder for the handles. It has a couple of compartments and is great. When/if number 2 comes along, I'm selling my snap n go (retched thing) and getting a car seat adaptor for my mini.

  • Love our City Mini! We have the Chicco adaptor and it worked well when our daughter was in that seat.
