Ugh!
The past few weeks seems to be the following.
Day 1: Vomit all day. Despite taking Zofran.
Day 2: Barely drink or eat anything b/c afraid of repeating day 1.
Day 3: Manage to feel ok. Eat and drink more than Day 2.
Day 4: Feel somewhat normal.
Day 5: Completely constipated.
Day 6: Maybe some relief.
Day 7. Completely normal and actually eat a full meal.
I am on Day 4-5.  It's so frustrating!!   Hopefully it subsides soon.
Re: Vicious cycle: to puke or not to puke?
Finished Day 1 today, on to Day 2 tomorrow.
I love this post.
Welcome to my world, sweetie! Only mine doesn't have relief. It has puking almost every. single. time. Last night was an entire bowl of spaghetti in my job parking lot (I work until midnight.) It's been like this for well over a month now.
Plus, I have caught a nasty, nasty cough that's aggravating it. But at least I'll have awesome abs by the time this coughing is finished.
I've lost 3 pounds (that I know of). All my MD can tell me is to keep trying to eat.
Does it get better? I dunno. I'll let you know when I get there.
Praying you feel better soon, though. Take care of yourself.
For the last 2 weeks, I think the heartburn has been the cause of my vomiting too. It's so frustrating. I don't really feel nauseous anymore. I would really like to eat, but if I get heartburn, there is little chance my meal stays down. I get a little concerned that I'm not providing the baby with enough nutrients
babystoli: I don't have quite that same schedule, but I do cycle through something similar. Feeling like crap one day. Scared to pieces day 2 to have a repeat of day one. Somewhere around day 5 I feel pretty good and have energy to do stuff, which I take full advantage of because I know crappy day 1 is just around the corner.
Also a July 2013 Mom!
