First bday party food ideas?

A pp got me thinking about lo's first birthday party. I have the theme picked which is going to be general pinkness, but what about food. Does anyone have any really good 1st birthday party food ideas they can share? The only idea I have heard that I really like so far is tons of mini and finger foods.

    Maybe you can find some ideas on Pinterest. That is what I plan to do.

    I love to make Pink Lady cake with fresh or frozen strawberries. There's also a way to decorate marshmallows to get colors on them, and you could make pink-dyed white chocolate dipped pretzels. Keep an eye out at Valentine's day for pink candies that you can use for favors, too.

    Agree with pp about Pinterest!  I've already started searching for ideas for DS's birthday party and there is a TON of cute stuff!  YIKES!  How are we thinking about one year old birthday parties already?!

    Theme for first bday here is Minnie.  I figure it's classic and I like that.  As for food...I'm planning on serving turkey sandwiches, hot "diggity" dogs (pigs in a blanket), fruit cups, and I saw on pinterest someone found some chicken nuggets in the shape of mickey/minnie at Costco...so if they have them I'll be serving those too.  My DD will prob be the youngest at her party so I think that the other kids will enjoy the food.  I also plan on making rice krispie treats and cupcakes.  But, I'm just in the beginning stages of planning so things might change/be added.
