Licensed!

We got the call that we are officially licensed! After starting classes in September and losing my dad to cancer last month it feels like we just completed a marathon!
Before final approval the state worker sent some questions back through our agency caseworker. Thought you'd get a kick out of some of these. We had to answer these before they could approve us.
1. What is "Husky Rescue"? Is this a dog rescue? Our daughter volunteers for a dog rescue.
2. Your son expressed a strong dislike for Barack Obama and Justin Bieber. Please explain why he dislikes them.
3. One of your children said they "do not like people who aren't nice." How will your family handle it if we place someone in your home who is occasionally not nice?"

We are now on the call list for placement!

Congrats on being licensed. And I'm sorry that your state worker felt compelled to ask you to follow up with stupid questions.

Congratulations! I remember how it was a relief to finally be licensed, but yet also exciting and nervous to think about how we could get a call at any time.
