First of all, I have been lurking just looking at how much everyone's little ones have grown and how adorable they are! I can't believe it's been as long as it has. Good times, that's for sure!
So, we took Norah to the beach in October but are trying to decide what we want to do for vacation this year. I don't want to fly, so it needs to be in driving distance. We are planning a Halloween Disney Cruise for next year but still want to do something this year. Are you all taking a vacation & if so, where?

Yay!!! I think that we should meet up!!!
We're going on vacation in March and trying to save money so we'll drive instead of fly too. We're thinking we'll drive up the coast for about 3 days stopping and staying in different areas and hotels, and then drive back down for 3 days stopping and staying again. We haven't worked out any details yet, but we'll get to see the CA coast, stop in places like Santa Barbara and Pismo Beach and Morro Bay, and never spend more than a couple of hours in the car at any one time. That's the idea at least.
That would be a lot of fun! We have not confirmed plans 100% but we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will happen. I will definitely keep in touch and let you know if we head out that way so we can all meet up!
Let me know too! I am looking for an excuse to drive up and see Chunstad again! Lol

Foster Lake, OR in May
Dosewallips in the WA Puget Sound in June
Lake Billy Chinook, OR in July and August.
Foster Lake, OR in September
A couple of trips to the beach
Some overnight hiking adventures
We are mostly lakes for camping and boating. We try and squeeze as many as we can in there since the summer is so short but I am sure we will add a trip to the John Day River and Prineville Before the summer is over. Gator loves camping and I made a vow that I would continue to do our trips because I don't want to be afraid to take her somewhere thinking it will be too much work. So far, except our trip this week, all have turned out good. And while I am SAH with Gator, SO loves that I don't have a work schedule to worry about and we can drop everything and go. This kid has traveled more in the past 14 months, than I think I did in my first 10 years of life.
Will do for sure!
It will be the Great Northwest GTG!!
