My LO just recently transitioned from 2 to 1 nap. We're still in the phase where the nap is happening early in the day - about 11:30 - b/c he's really beat by then. He's been sleeping anywhere from 1-2 hours usually so we're still doing an early bedtime, often as early as 6pm.
The early bedtime helped w/ night wakings, but now he's waking up early in the morning (5:30). I've tried just putting him to bed later but he's still waking up early, and then he just gets less sleep.
My game plan now is to keep trying to push back the nap to 12:30ish in hopes that if I consistently put him to bed later he'll sleep in later.
Has anyone had experience w/ this and what worked for you?
