Hello and Questions.

A little back story for me, in 2008 my son was misdiagnosed with CHD (HLHS) and unfortunately passed away as an infant. We since have had a medically perfect DD with no heart condition or other imediate concerns.

Yesterday I was having my fetal echo and the tech got up to get the Peri and had found a fairly large bowel obstruction on the follow up U/S that they preformed after the echo. They said his heart, kidneys, spine, limbs and digits are all fine and where they should be. They couldnt get a great profile but said Trisomy 21 wasnt a concern but was a possibility still.

The perinatologists concern was that this wasnt there for my A/S but is here now. They did an amnio and I am meeting with a genetic counselor on Thursday (tomorrow)

I guess what I want to know is what to expect from all the tests that they want to run, if any one has a baby born with a bowel obstruction and what that means. Everything Ive found myself is a bit vauge.
