question...

do you really have to encounter most of the symptoms of pregnancy so that you can tell if you are preggers or if it is leading to a miscarriage?... one symptom for example is your bbs being sore, tender, and enlarging.. if its not does that mean it is false alarm or you are not producing enough milk for baby.. are symptoms important most especially for weeks 4 to 12, the first trimester?.. sorry, its my first time and so new to this..

Re: question...

  • My boobs were super sore with my first pregnancy and ms hit around 5/6 weeks. As of right now I'm 4w4d and not a sign yet. My hcg levels were doubling so I tried to relax. Everyone says symptoms are different for every pregnancy.

  • I've known people who have no symptoms and a healthy pregnancy, and people with every symptom possible who have miscarried. First tri is my least favorite because its so terrifying and the unknowns and what ifs are rampant. It is hard when you read about others who have every symptom in the book and you don't, but remember that everyone's body adjusts differently. Also, I have heard that each pregnancy can make your symptoms worse. This will be my fourth pregnancy and I have never ever felt like this, let alone so soon. I think its punishment for trying to populate the world with my spawn.

  • I have very few symptoms with DS. Fatigue and sore boobs, that's it. My chest didn't grow 3 sizes, never was a hair nauseous, no heartburn. I had a healthy pregnancy.

This time I have no symptoms really. But I attribute that to finding out so flippin early. I am sure I will regret typing this in a week or 2!

  • You don't have to have overwhelming symptoms to be pregnant. My only real noticeable symptom in 1st tri last time was being constipated and that's holding true this time, too. Try not to worry too much, every pregnancy can be different.

  • The only first tri symptom I had with DS was nausea. I never had the sore boobs that alot of people talk about and my milk supply was fine. I nursed DS for a year. My only symptom so far this time around is fatigue but I had that already prepregnancy due to my thyroid issues.

  • I am 4w1d and no symptoms either. I didn't have any symptoms with my first pregnancy either and I lost that one at 6w. It's terrifying, but I am trying to stay positive and remember that every pregnancy is different. FX for you!

  • Everyone and every pregnancy is different.  Symptoms or lack thereof are not a gauge of how "pregnant" you are.  Last time I had hardly any symptoms besides really bad heartburn and my asthma got really bad.  That was pretty much it.  This time I have nausea and I'm much more tired.  Pregnancy affects everyone differently.  Symptoms in and of themselves are not "important".

  • My last pg I had numerous symptoms and I lost it at 7 weeks. This time I dont have half as many symptoms.  Its kinda freaking me out a bit but I know that every pregnancy is different so I just keep trying to tell myself that.

  • I am so with you my first also. I have no real symptoms except some bloating little cramping but on and off. It is a bit scary since you feel like you should have them. I am figuring in a few more weeks when I am further along. Will be happy with no symptoms right now. It is very hard however!!!
