And I don't like it.
I posted about low hcg and progesterone last week and then bled red with some clots on Friday-Saturday.
I figured I miscarried.
I went in for b/w to check HCG and P4 yesterday at the RE.
RE called and said my HCG tripled (rose approriately from the last draw) and my P4 was low so take the Crinone.
I stopped bleeding and have not even brown spotting. I started the Crinone and feel fine, just tired.
I go on Friday for HCG and P4.
I could still m/c, it could be ectopic, it could be low progesterone which could be helped by taking the Crinone.
Ugh.
I hate this. I am hoping this is a healthy, sticky baby. Its just hard to wait and not know.
Re: I am in limbo
I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I apparently discovered LO very, very early, so when I had the dating u/s, the OB was instantly concerned that the baby had stopped growing based on my LMP. (Case and point of why that equation doesn't work for everyone!)
I had to wait for the blood draw, then they lost that blood draw so I had to re-do that one and wait longer to do the comparative, plus the wait time for the OB to analyze the levels to hear that they were normal. Waiting is always the hardest part, in any situation.
Are they going to do an u/s to rule out an ectopic?
Yes but my hcg has to be 1000-2000 to see a gestational sac so I have to wait until Friday or Saturday.

Thank you!
It's a good sign that your HCG is still rising.
But just as an FYI, there is a lot of conflicting information about whether low progesterone causes miscarriage or the miscarriage causes low progesterone. It's a chicken/egg type thing and some people believe that taking progesterone supplements will only delay a miscarriage.
Yes I know this. I waited to take progesterone because of that. But my RE was optimistic, so we'll see.
Ditto this.
I'm so sorry your in beta he!!, I've been there before and it truly is the absolute he!!. It didn't have a good outcome for me, but a bumpie friend also went through weeks of beta and progrsterone he!!, measuring behind and told to expect miscarriage by several doctors :: she just had her baby over Xmas. This is her rollercoaster betas, just to show you that bad betas and low progrsterone don't always mean the worst outcome. Her pregnacy was saved by progrsterone supplements though.
